Our Story

We give clothes a second chance — and landfills one less problem

Scroll

It began with a suitcase and a weekend pop-up

In 2022, Audrey Hong started selling curated vintage pieces out of a single suitcase at weekend pop-ups around Singapore. The idea was simple: beautiful clothes shouldn't end up in a landfill just because someone's style changed.

What started as a side project quickly became a movement. The suitcase turned into a rack, the rack turned into a store, and the store turned into four — plus an online community of 37,000 people who believe fashion can be circular, not disposable.

"I've always loved thrifting personally — from the adrenaline of finding a unique item to the practice of conscientious shopping."

Three things that drive us

♻️

Circular by default

Every piece we sell is one less going to landfill. We've diverted over 10,000 kg of textiles — and we're just getting started.

Curated, not random

We handpick every single item for character, quality, and wearability. If we wouldn't wear it, we don't stock it.

🤝

Accessible to everyone

Sustainable fashion shouldn't be a luxury. Our price range sits between $16–$55, because looking good shouldn't mean breaking the bank.

Founder portrait

Fashion is personal. So is our curation.

I started UN.WASTELANDS at 22 because I saw a gap between what Singapore's thrift scene offered and what young people actually wanted to wear — vintage pieces that feel current, not costume-y.

Every week, I personally source and inspect hundreds of items. Only the pieces with real character make it to the rack. That's why our regulars trust us: they know every piece has been through a real pair of hands, not just a bulk warehouse.

We're not trying to be the biggest. We're trying to be the most trusted name in curated secondhand fashion in Singapore.

How every piece earns its spot

Not everything makes the cut. Here's the journey each piece takes before you see it.

01

Source

We hunt through hundreds of bales and suppliers regularly, looking for pieces with character, quality fabric, and real style.

02

Select

Only about 1 in 10 pieces passes our curation standard. We check stitching, fabric weight, condition, and style relevance.

03

Clean & Prep

Every piece is inspected, cleaned, steamed, and photographed. We assign a condition grade so you know exactly what you're getting.

04

Drop

Online exclusive drops go live every 3rd Sunday of the month at 11PM SGT. First access goes through our Telegram Mini App.
